Attend one training and pass one assessment to start volunteering with us. We typically conduct 2 training and 2 assessments in the beginning of each semester, and 1 training and 1 assessment in the middle of each semester. We also have 1 training and 1 assessment during the summer. You do not need to be a Rutgers student to volunteer, however you should be at least 18 years old. If you or someone you know is under 18 years old and wants to volunteer with us, please contact rutgers.apsea@gmail.com.

Once you pass an assessment, you are cleared to attend all of our screenings. During the spring and fall semesters, volunteers are limited to signing up for 5 screenings a month, unless a particular screening is short staffed (which we will announce on GroupMe, Instagram, and Discord) at which point any assessed member can sign up. Make sure to sign up for RCommunity so you can sign up for screenings.
