E-board Positions
Use this kit to understand the roles and responsibilities of your position:
President

*One president only* (We have found that having co-presidents causes miscommunications & missed deadlines)

Oversees ongoing projects of board members and projects

Creates weekly agendas and leads discussion for E-Board meetings

Maintains communication with APSEA Board of Directors in order to guide chapter towards new missions and initiatives and update them on chapter progress

Sends and responds to emails with members and more
Treasurer

Writes budget and keeps track of ongoing expenses throughout semester

Keeps track of money received through members purchases of BP kits & shirts

Submits budget request to University each semester

Reimburses expenses (equipment, Ubers to screenings, internal event costs, etc.)

Keeps track of equipment inventory and orders more when needed
External Events Coordinator

Handles outreach to potential screening venues, seeking interest in APSEA’s services

Schedules screenings when venue confirms
-
Time, place, frequency, amount of volunteers needed, equipment needed, rides, etc.

Uses POINT app (or management software) + email to confirm attendance of volunteers before events

Internal Events Coordinator

Plans and runs internal club events
-
Examples: Game Night, Pre-Health Speakers, Annual Banquet, General Interest Meetings

Strives to build an “APSEA Community” outside of screenings + external events through

fun events where members can connect
Digital Media Coordinator

Runs social media accounts for club to expand organization awareness on campus

Posts infographics, event information, pictures of screenings
